The EVOTECH^® Endoscope Cleaner and Reprocessor is the first commercially available system in the U.S. that both cleans and high level disinfects endoscopes. Developed by Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), division of Ethicon, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company, the EVOTECH^® System makes endoscope reprocessing a totally automated process, eliminating tedious brushing*, resulting in complete confidence that endoscope reprocessing is safe, fast and consistent each time. This can save valuable time, improve safety and prevent infection.

Consistent Cleaning with No Brushing.

Now, the labor-intensive and time-consuming process of cleaning is a thing of the past. The EVOTECH^® System, the first commercially available system to eliminate manual cleaning*, provides healthcare professionals with consistency, efficiency and confidence in endoscope reprocessing.

After procedure room precleaning, one endoscope is loaded into each of the two basins of the EVOTECH^® System. The endoscope is selected and the reprocessing begins. Automated cleaning occurs using CIDEZYME^® GI Enzymatic Detergent, followed by a single-metered dose of CIDEX^® OPA Concentrate Solution which assures high-level disinfection. Plus the EVOTECH^® System automatically detects leaks and tests MEC levels, ensuring added consistency. All of this increases efficiency and frees staff to focus on patient care.

* Manual cleaning of medical devices (endoscopes) is not required prior to placement in the EVOTECH^® System when selecting those cycles that contain a wash stage. Does not eliminate bedside precleaning.
