Helpful Pre-Installation Hints for Your STERRAD® NX® System

 

Thank you for choosing the STERRAD® NX® System for your facility! In the near future, a highly trained ASP field service engineer will be on site to install your STERRAD® NX® System. The following are some pre-installation considerations that will assist in making your installation experience as seamless as possible.

STERRAD® NX® System Location   YES
Using STERRAD® NX® System cart or a countertop that meets specification  
24-inch clearance above unit  
24-inch clearance to right of unit  
System is at least 1 inch from the wall at the rear  
Easy access to and removal of all four sides  
Power receptacle is 12 to 24 inches above the floor  
Electrical Assessment    
Single phase dedicated circuit with dedicated hot and neutral wires, and a NEMA 5-20 receptacle with a 20 amp circuit breaker. Wire gauge sufficient to maintain 108-132 VAC with 16 amps continuous and 40 amps momentary current. Please see additional requirements on previous page under the heading CONDUCT AN ELECTRICAL ASSESSMENT.  
SS1 Removed    
System disconnected and removed from area  
Water filtration devices and plumbing removed  
Alternate Sterilization Location    
Plans confirmed for alternative sterilization location for 48 hours
