GLOSAIR™ Systems Come to Hospital’s Rescue after Flooding in Oman

After torrential rains in November 2011 caused flooding and patient evacuations at a hospital in Oman, a local ASP distributor provided automated decontamination of the hospital environment with GLOSAIR™ Systems to make it safe for patients to return. This is a powerful example of the value of GLOSAIR Systems in creating safe healthcare environments.

The flooding had submerged the entire hospital and, when the waters subsided, fungus developed in the operating theaters and surgical wards. After the hospital was properly cleaned and repainted, ASP and the distributor quickly trained the hospital staff to seal the rooms and use the GLOSAIR™ System—resulting in decontamination of the entire operating theater environment in just three days! Since then, a second GLOSAIR System has continued to decontaminate surgical wards and other areas.
